BFA Graphic Novels Class

This particular assignment was a study in character development. Students had to create four characters from a list of abstract adjectives (one character per adjective). After creating the characters, they had to put them in a situation where they all interact according to their characteristics.

The conversation describes another character derived from a passage from a novel. Instructor Daniel Duford chose character sketches from Madame Bovary, The Great Gatsby and Winesburg, Ohio. Included is the work of Kim Huerta, Bryan Fleming, LeeAnne Clement and Amanda Hamilton. Click on a name to see their work.
